Hello, my name is Lauren and I’m a family photographer serving North Carolina’s Triangle area. I love all things peanut butter, running, and impromptu dance parties with my husband and three children. I’m a graduate of NYU and Columbia University and, prior to studying photography, I was a therapist in New York City.

If you’re anything like me, you wish you could pause and soak in each season of your family a little longer. I never want to forget my son’s single-tooth smile or the way my daughter’s nose crinkles when she belly laughs. Becoming a photographer was my way of making sure I didn’t miss the opportunity to capture my children’s first years. I want to help you preserve your family’s all too fleeting details, too.

I use natural light and minimal props to create images that are timeless and representative of your family’s personality. Equipped with immense patience, I’m determined to get “the shot,” but also ready to snap away when a playful, candid moment arises.
